Lima - Cusco 12 Días / 11 Noches
Day 1.- Cusco City Tours
Pick-up from the airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest to acclimatize.
The City Tour begins at 1:00 p.m. in the city of Cusco, a blend of Inca and Spanish cultures. Visit the Koricancha or Temple of the Sun, the most important site of the Inca culture, along with other monuments and colonial mansions.
Continue to nearby archaeological sites: Tambomachay, Puca Pucara, Qenqo, and finally the Fortress of Sacsayhuamán.
The excursion ends at 3:00 p.m. Return to Cusco
DAY 2.- Machu Picchu By Car - Huayna Picchu
Portable breakfast.
3:00 a.m. Pick-up point: Plaza Regocijo (around 6:00–6:10 a.m.).
Enjoy a 7-hour panoramic journey to Aguas Calientes through the mountains and the Urubamba River canyon.
There will be 2 brief stops:
- Ollantaytambo (25 min)
- Alfamayo (15 min)
Lunch at a restaurant near where the bus drops you off.
Then begin a 2–3 hour walk on a flat, safe, and well-marked route.
Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, a representative will meet you at the Virgen del Carmen Chapel (left side of the main square). You’ll receive key information and assistance for purchasing tickets for Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu, as well as directions to your hotel.
Dinner is between 7:00–8:00 p.m.
DAY 3.- Machu Picchu - Cusco
Portable breakfast.
Early morning transfer from the hotel to the bus station.
Board a bus for a 30-minute ride up to the majestic Machu Picchu Archaeological Park, located in the cloud forest high in the mountains.
Guided tour for 2 hours, followed by free time to explore and take photos.
In the afternoon, enjoy the hot springs of Aguas Calientes.
Later, transfer to the train station for your return to Cusco.
DAY 4.- Humantay Lake
Pick-up from the hotel between 4:30–5:00 a.m.
Travel դեպի the northeast of Cusco toward Mollepata. Along the way, see the Apurímac River. Breakfast in the village.
Continue to Soraypampa (3,900 m / 12,795 ft). After a short rest, begin a 2-hour hike to the stunning Humantay Lake (4,180 m / 13,713 ft), known for its turquoise color at the base of Humantay Mountain.
Enjoy the scenery, take photos, and relax.
Return hike, followed by buffet lunch, then return to Cusco.
DAY 5.- Sacred Valley VIP
Departure at 6:00 a.m. to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Stop at a viewpoint for a panoramic view of the valley.
Visit Chinchero, a traditional town with Inca constructions, a colonial church, and a traditional market (barter system).
Continue to Moray, an Inca agricultural research center with circular terraces used for crop experiments.
Then visit Maras, featuring over 2,000 salt pools still in use today.
Lunch (buffet) in Urubamba.
Continue to Ollantaytambo, a beautiful town preserving its original Inca layout with terraces and stone walls.
Transfer to the train station and travel to Aguas Calientes. Overnight stay.
DAY 6.- Rainbow Mountain
Hotel pickup at 4:30 a.m. We will have a light breakfast along the way and then continue to Vinicunca. After reaching the end of the road, we will begin a 2-hour hike to the mountain. Here, we will visit one of the most popular tourist attractions, the Rainbow Mountain, formed by a complex combination of minerals and rainwater. It was once covered by ice, but due to global warming it has been revealed, and today we can admire it.
DAY 7 y 8.- FREE. Return to the airport at the agreed time.
DAY 9.- Machupicchu By Car - Huaynapicchu
Box breakfast. 3:00 a.m.
Pickup point: Plaza Regocijo at 6:00 a.m. and 6:10 a.m.
We will enjoy a panoramic journey of approximately 7 hours to Aguas Calientes, traveling through the mountains and the Urubamba River canyon. Along the way, we will make two short stops: the first in Ollantaytambo (25 minutes) and the second in Alfamayo (15 minutes). These stops are brief, so we recommend staying attentive.
Lunch will be at the Waynapicchu Restaurant, just a few steps from where the bus will drop you off. From here, we will begin a hike of approximately 2 to 3 hours. The route is flat, safe, well-marked, and frequently visited by travelers. “Enjoy nature at your own pace.”
Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, a representative will be waiting for you at the Virgen del Carmen Chapel, located to the left of the main square. They will provide all the key information and assistance for purchasing your ticket and organizing your visit to Huaynapicchu, as well as indicate the location of your hotel. Dinner will be served between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m.
DAY 10.- Huaynapicchu – Cusco
In the morning, we will have a continental breakfast. Then, we will ascend to the majestic Machu Picchu Archaeological Park, located on the edge of the jungle high in the mountains. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes.
We will then continue to Huayna Picchu, entering through Inti Punku, which is believed to have served as a control and surveillance point. We will begin the ascent along a narrow path, and at the top we will see a cave—an architectural evidence known as the Temple of the Moon. There will be time to enjoy this wonder and take photos. This visit is without a guide.
Return to Cusco by bus. We will descend and have lunch. In the afternoon, the meeting point will be at the Waynapicchu Restaurant (the same place where lunch was served on the first day). Arrival time at Hidroeléctrica is between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Just give your name to the restaurant staff, and they will indicate which bus you should take for your return. If you arrive earlier, an assistant will be waiting to guide you to the boarding point. Return to Cusco.
DAY 11.- Humantay Lake
Hotel pickup between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m. Departure towards the northeast of Cusco, heading to Mollepata. Along the way, we will see the Apurímac River. In this town, we will have breakfast.
We will then continue to Soraypampa, the end of the road, located at an altitude of 3,900 meters (12,795 ft). After a short rest, we will begin a 2-hour hike to reach the stunning Humantay Lake, known for its turquoise color, located at the foot of the Humantay snow-capped mountain at an altitude of 4,180 meters (13,713 ft).
Here, we will appreciate its beautiful landscape, enjoy its vibrant colors, and take photos. There will be time to fully enjoy the المكان. Afterwards, we will return and have a buffet lunch (BBFF), and then head back to the city of Cusco.
DAY 12.-Free– Return
Return to the airport at the agreed time.
