In the morning at 7:00 a.m., departure to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Along the way, we will enjoy a wonderful view of the Sacred Valley from a scenic viewpoint. We arrive at the traditional town of Chinchero, known for its Inca constructions, colonial church, and traditional market where barter is still practiced. We continue to Moray, an Inca agricultural research center where experiments were conducted at different altitudes, possibly serving as a model for agricultural production.
Next, we visit Maras, which consists of around 2,000 salt ponds used since Inca times and still in operation today. We then head to Urubamba for a buffet lunch, followed by a visit to Ollantaytambo, a beautiful town that preserves its original Inca layout, with impressive terraces and walls. The tour continues to the town of Pisac, known for its cultural heritage. Finally, return to Cusco.
